Booga.

I got me a camera, and consequently, I got me a blog. Now I too can have a spot to share patterns, show off finished projects, and kvetch about the agony of an eight-mile long stretch of plain stockinette stitch. With guest appearances by Tibby the dog, Mephisto, and the most excellent Pook, who is even now serving his country by blowing things up in Puget Sound. Or preventing things from blowing up. I forget.

Anyway. Camera has finished charging, which means it's time for roll call, of both knitting and family members. We'll start with the pets.

This is Mephisto the cat. He is pure evil. Enough said.

And here is Hannibal Tiberius Shebalin, Tibby or Tibbles to his friends. He is vigilantly guarding my Hurricane Sock. Good boy.

The Pook is, as mentioned above, in Puget Sound for two weeks. In his absence, I bring you Booga Prime. This is my second Booga Bag, and I think it came out way better than the first one.

Close-up of the Hurricane Sock. It's a spiraling rib pattern done in a nice merino by Lonesome Stone, called Florida Sunset. Florida + spirals = hurricane.

These are for the Pook's brother, David. I call them the Freakin' Socks. They are huge, they are stockinette, and they are plain green.

These are socks for the Pookmom (on my foot, of course). Are they not fine?

That's all I have for today! Join us next time, when I will complain about work!
